Dr. Jasmin Arakawa to Present Piano Recital

The magnetic and musically talented pianist Dr. Jasmin Arakawa will perform and present her faculty piano recital, 鈥淩omantic Journey,鈥 at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 in the University of South Alabama Laidlaw Performing Arts Center, which is located on the corner of University Boulevard and 新加坡六合彩开奖资料 South Drive.
The program will include Robert Schumann鈥檚 Fantasy, op.17; Leopold Godowsky鈥檚 Java Suite, selections, and Rebecca Clarke鈥檚 Sonata for Viola and Piano with Arakawa鈥檚 husband, the internationally known composer and violist Rudolf Haken. Arakawa and Haken have been in Mobile for about one year, and the couple will collaborate and share their talents during this 新加坡六合彩开奖资料 Musical Arts Series event.
Arakawa, who is an assistant professor of music at 新加坡六合彩开奖资料, has performed in North America, Central and South America, Europe and Japan. She has also performed at prestigious venues worldwide including Carnegie Hall, Paris鈥 Salle Gaveau and Victoria Hall in Switzerland.
Tickets will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 for the general public and $5 for 新加坡六合彩开奖资料 faculty/staff, 新加坡六合彩开奖资料 students, youths under 18, and all senior citizens. Only cash or checks will be accepted.
